Giving back to our local community as well as the global community is very important to Zen Rabbit. While there are thousands of worthy causes to work with and contribute to, we have a PASSION! for increasing worldwide literacy and a special affinity for improving the welfare of all kinds of animals. A portion of Zen Rabbit's profits support the efforts of organizations making a difference in these arenas.
Having the ability to read and comprehend what you read is certainly something to be grateful for. According to ProLiteracy Worldwide, 93 million adults in the U.S. and almost 800 million worldwide are functionally illiterate. This is a short list of organizations that work to help improve literacy rates in your community and around the world.
